Mrs. Delamarter

Hi! My name is Jane Delamarter and I am very excited to be a part of the Compass team this year!  I graduated from NNU and spent the past nine years teaching kindergarten and first grade in Nampa. This year I will be working part-time teaching morning kindergarten.

My husband, Ethan, and I live in Meridian with our daughter, Macey, and dog, Chloe. When I am not teaching I enjoy crocheting, reading, and taking walks to the park with my family.

I am really looking forward to the start of the school year and becoming a part of the Compass family!

Ms. Seid

I am excited to be teaching Kindergarten this year! Although new as a teacher here, I am familiar with Compass because I was paraprofessional in the special education department last year. I am anxious to help students learn their fundamentals and see them progress.

I earned an associate’s degree at Ricks College many years ago. I took a break from school when I got married and had a family. Then later I attended Boise State where I received my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education.  Previously I was an elementary PE instructor but decided to focus on general education.

I have four children, two of whom attend Compass.  When we are not at school we like to go to the park and run and ride bikes. We also enjoy play dough, cooking together, scouts, and getting together with friends.  My hobbies include photography, family history, and volleyball. I am looking forward to this year at Compass. I hope to be able to facilitate a great start at this school and in life for all my kindergartners.

My husband of 14 years, Jeff, and I have three children who all attend Compass.  As a family, we are very active and love spending time outdoors.  We enjoy camping, biking, swimming, and traveling.  I am looking forward to this next chapter in my life and can’t wait to interact with the students and faculty here at Compass!

We have lived most of our lives here in Idaho (except a 3 year stint in Arizona).  Although we loved our time in Arizona, we were excited to return to Idaho, especially the beautiful outdoors. Others things I enjoy include playing softball, crafting, traveling, and watching my kids sporting and dancing events. Mr. Shingler

My name is Brad Shingler. This will be my first year teaching at Compass and I am excited to join such an exceptional team of great educators. I have been teaching locally for 7 years in the West Ada School District and am looking forward to many awesome years with the students here at Compass.

Life is a true blessing. My life outside of school is filled with many adventures. Being married to my best friend, for many wonderful years, and raising four children has helped keep my life vibrant and exciting. Our home in Meridian is always alive with activity, between theater, sports, and church. I am a firm believer in the fact that an active life leads to greater success. Whenever we are living a passive existence, we are settling for less than the best.

Wonderful things lay ahead as we journey through the school year. I look forward to the many victories we will celebrate.
