Compass Families in Need

Every Christmas season, the Compass community comes together to help Compass families in need. While there are many worthy causes to contribute to during this season, we don’t have to look very far to find those who need our support. If you would like to help a Compass family, you can make a monetary donation by bringing your contribution to either of the school offices. If you know of a family in need, please email either Mr. Ziemer (sziemer@compasscharter.org), our school counselor, or Mrs. Trudeau, Charter Administrator (ktrudeau@compasscharter.org)

The 7th-8th Rhythm & Beat class is performing this coming Monday, November 30 at 7:00PM in the Cherry Lane Campus Auditorium.

Welcome to the Roaring Readers Program!

By participating, your school’s students and teachers can earn a FREE day ticket to Roaring Springs Waterpark! The goal of the program is to add fun to reading, and to help students understand goal setting and achievement. It challenges K-6 students to read for pleasure with a very exciting reward—a FREE day ticket to Roaring Springs! We hope the students at your school are very excited to have this opportunity and work very hard to achieve their reading goal. Please find attached the Reading Log along with instructions. The deadline to return reading logs is March 17, 2016.

Credit Card Use

Office staff members are now able to accept credit and debit card payments. If you choose to use this system, there will be a convenience fee of 3% of the purchase plus one dollar. Purchases will appear on your statement as Access Idaho, not Compass Public Charter School.

Not only can you include the donation in your itemized deductions, you can also credit 50% of it, up to $1000 for a married couple filing jointly, toward paying your state tax bill once it is figured. For more information, look at Idaho Statute Title 63, Chapter 30, Section 63-3029A.
