Adopt a Garden

Hello Compass families.  It's the time of year when Mr. Henning is looking for several families to adopt the garden, one day a week, for the summer.  It's pretty simple:  you pick the day of the week you can come to the garden, check on the fruits and veggies that are growing, pull any weeds and give a little extra water, if needed. Then you get to harvest the food when its ready!!  WOW!!  What a deal!   He also would like a couple of backup families that will cover for folks when they go on vacation.  If this sounds good to you email Mr. Henning at hhenning@compasscharter.org or send a note with you student.

Thank You PFA & Parents

Thank you to all of those who contributed to the delicious Teacher Appreciation lunch on Friday, May 10th. The Compass staff is blessed to have so many supportive parents like you!
Recycling Day -

The final recycling day is Tuesday, June 4th. Please save, save, save your aluminum cans and put them in Mr. Henning's truck on June 4th. All the money earned from the cans goes to the garden and science program.
