Compass Family Movie & Pizza Night is This Friday
We will be showing Disney's "Brave" rated PG at 7PM.  This movie was just released on DVD this month!  Come early for dinner!  Beginning at 6:30pm we will be offering a slice of pizza and soda pop combo for $1.50.   Proceeds from the food sales will support the Compass Honor's High School (CHHS) student trip to Costa Rica in June of 2013.  Food is not allowed in the auditorium so please allow plenty of time to enjoy your dinner before the movie starts.  IMPORTANT - All Compass students K - 6th grade must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.  If you are 7th grade and above and plan to attend movie night without your parents, you must bring a parent/guardian signed permission slip with you to the movie (this includes friends too).  Permission slips are available in both school offices and on the Compass website. For questions regarding movie nights please email the Compass PFA at pfa@compasscharter.org.

Band Concert
This Tuesday is the 6-12 band concert in the school auditorium. Come and enjoy holiday songs to put you in the holiday spirit!
Compass Families in Need
Compass staff and parents have created a tradition of coming together to support Compass families in need during the holiday season. There are two parts to supporting this effort, 1. Providing names of those families who need support and 2. Sending in money to purchase cash gift cards for the families. Please email names of families to me at ktrudeau@compasscharter.org and send funds in an envelope marked "Families in Need" to the main office.

Early Release
December 14 is an early release day for 1-12 grade students, 6-12 7:40-11:40/1-5 9:00-1:00. Kindergarten AM students will follow their regular schedule 9:00-12:00, Kindergarten PM students will not attend school on Friday, December 14. Kindergarten PM students will make up the day on the last day of school by attending the AM shift.

Builder's Club
Mr. Fearey's 6th grade Builder's Club has been participating in some wonderful community service projects. They have helped at both the Meridian and Boise Food Banks, receiving accolades from the staff at these facilities for their efficient work. Additionally, the 6th grade group raked leaves in the neighborhood around the school just before Thanksgiving break.
