PFA Announcement
Thank you for your labels and keep them coming! The labels you contributed to our Labels for Education Program at Compass has paid for 24 new playground balls and some long jump ropes. The kids are having a blast with them at recess! Also, thank you to Melissa Freese for heading up this program for us!

News From Mr. Henning
Our final two recycling days will be on Thursday, May 10th, and Thursday, June 7th.
Mr. Henning still has seeds for sale. Fifty cents per package. He has bush beans, peas, corn, and radishes.
Mr. Henning has purchased a greenhouse for the garden. He is looking for a few parents to help him get it put up. He can do it on any day of the week except Sunday. Contact him at hhenning@compasscharter.org if you would like to help. Thanks!!

2012-13 Lottery
The lottery for the 2012-13 school year was successfully completed yesterday. Letters informing people of either enrollment or waiting list position will be sent out by the end of next week.
Vision Screening

We would also like to thank Mrs. Alyson White who is a member of the Star Lyons Club; she helped arrange for the Star Lyons to come to Compass to provide this free service.
The results of the vision screening will be sent home with students in their Monday folders.

Senior Projects/No School May 4 & 7
Senior Project presentations are scheduled for Friday, May 4th and Monday, May 7th. There will be no school on these days for students in K-11th.
