Thank you on behalf of the Compass PFA to those of you who volunteered your time and items for the Compass Garage Sale! Also a big thank you to the Henderson family and their shaved ice business, Pip-n-Pucks, for donating yummy shaved ice treats at the garage sale to support Compass! If you donated items to Compass and would like a receipt for donated items for tax purposes please email the PFA with your request. The Compass PFA raised just under $300. Thank you also for bringing in your Box Tops for Education. We recently received a check for $500! Isn't it amazing how all those little pieces of paper add up...please keep them coming!
Senior Projects/No School May 4 & 7
Senior Project presentations are scheduled for Friday, May 4th and Monday, May 7th. There will be no school on these days for students in K-11th.
Moving Up Day
On Tuesday, May 22nd, students will move up to the next grade level for a one hour visit/glimpse. This Compass tradition has helped put students at ease by allowing them to get to know their new teacher(s) and the expectations of the next grade level.
Now is the time to order your spring Compass Charter spiritwear! Check out the new colors and the new slim cut ladies tees for summer! As the warmer weather is upon us, we are only offering short sleeved tees on this order. All shirts are just $7.00. The order form and poster is attached to this email and will be available on the Compass website. Samples of the shirts are available in the school office. Hurry, orders are due by Tuesday, May 8th.
